MA
“Ma” is a dialogue between space and rhythm — a meeting point between Japanese minimalism and Cuban vitality. Inspired by the Japanese concept of 間 (“Ma”), the meaningful silence between sounds, the duet explores how breath, resonance, movement, and pause can coexist with pulse, spontaneity, and energy.
Through flute and percussion, the project creates a sonic landscape where stillness becomes expressive and rhythm becomes ritual, blending the refined aesthetics of Japan with the warmth and vibrant spirit of Cuba.
